The Eranos Foundation has the purpose of preserving and valorising the material and immanterial heritage bound to the Eranos property and activities in Moscia (Switzerland) and in particular by continuing the series of academic seminars and meetings initiated in 1933 and known as the "Eranos Tagungen". The Property in Moscia has been unanimously considered to be particularly inspiring for meetings that bring together few but highly selected specialists. In the Casa Eranos the Foundation offers a meeting room that can host about 25 people, and on the terrace close to Casa Gabriella there is the famous anonymous inscription of the Genius Loci, and this is the preferred place for open air seminars around the equally famous Round Table, The mediterranean climate controlled by the proximity of the largest lake southern of the Alps, the landscape and the historical significance of the location have been favouring both the formal and informal exchange of views amopng the most brilliant minds in the most disparate fields. Besides organising its own meetings (Tagungen), the Foundation hosts events organised by its contractual academic partners and can also host occasional meetings organised by associations and organisations that have purposes and visions compatible with the guidance and spirit of Eranos. Some events of broader interest are occasionally organised at the proximal locations such as the Isole di Brissago or the Monte Verità of Ascona. Finally, the Foundation can host people for days or weeks in the refurbished rooms of Casa Eranos or Casa Gabriella at a very moderate cost. . . . . PDF . . . . . . .
